Lessons in Motherhood

It’s Tuesday. I’m exhausted. I feel like it’s Friday. This new job makes me tired. It’s more work and more stress and more thinking. Don’t get me wrong…I love it. Yet, I sometimes drive home wondering “What am I doing? Is this really worth it?” Usually I’m stuck in traffic when I start pulling out my “woe-is-me violin.” When I’m flying down the interstate, I’m usually not worried about too much other than not getting pulled over. Today was a bad traffic day, which is why I can’t think of anything funny to write about. I don’t have any good stories.

Ok. Maybe just one…yesterday Sophia realized that she could walk by herself pushing her little walker. She was so proud of herself. Then, Hailey wanted to help her, which turned into Hailey laying on the floor as a roadblock.I’m not sure how that happened, but they both thought it was so funny when Sophia ran her walker into the sister obstacle. You can see it at the end of the clip.
