Lessons in Motherhood

to bring you a ridiculous comment on humanity.  So, I’m sitting here watching the New Kids on the Block Reunion concert on palladia.  Yeah…you read that right.  It’s not actually on right now.  Somehow it mysteriously appeared on my DVR.  I didn’t tape it, I swear!  I just found it there, and it’s like a train wreck that you have to watch.

There are so many weird things about this whole show, but let me just start with the fact that it’s all these Moms my age or older in the audience acting like they are teenagers again.  Then, the NKOTB (that’s New Kids on the Block for all of you who didn’t endure that era) are up on stage doing the same damn songs and moves as they did 20 years ago, but now they’re sweating like the middle aged men that they are.  I can’t even name them all.  Can you?  There’s Donny, Joe, Danny, Jordan and ????  Who’s the other one?  All I know is that the ones who used to be hot are not any more and the ones that used to be creepy are even more creepy now. And no, I didn’t go see them live.
