Today was Hailey’s 100th day of school. In honor of the occasion, I believe that they counted to 100 by 5s and 10s. Then, they ate a ton of treats which they counted out into sets of 10.
I don’t know how anyone is a kindergarten teacher. I really don’t understand why we don’t pay teachers $500,000 a year to put up with 23 kids in a room. I just can’t think of anything more difficult. Oh the stories that Hailey comes home with – fart jokes, giant messes, bee stings, glued fingers, etc. And, that’s just the stuff that I hear about! All in all it’s just exhausting.
So, here’s the all of the teachers out there. Congrats for making it through 100 days. In honor of your accomplishment, here’s a fun movie of the girls dancing…

AND, in addition to dealing with all of those distractions in the classroom, kindergarten teachers actually succeed in TEACHING. As someone who taught in grades 12 years later, I have nothing but respect, admiration, and amazement for all those who “came before”…especially those with the youngest students. Good for them!

OMG! Santa brought me Just Dance 3 from Christmas. Granted, I’ve only done this in the privacy of my own home with no one watching, but my guess is that I look like Sophia, add 130 pounds and subtract some of her coordination. Ahhh, the great circle of life!
