Another Mommy Blog
Hailey has never really had a lot of bad dreams, but tonight she woke up screaming. When I went into her room, this is what she said, “there were lots of dinosaurs roaring at me.” I asked her what kind of dinosaurs they were – real dinosaurs or Star Wars dinosaurs. Yes, [...]
Ok, Sophia Catherine. You win. I was totally not into the potty training thing, but apparently, you are. If you continue to insist on sitting on the potty, then I guess I’ll let you, especially if it means no more pooping in the bath.
I am not, however, putting you in Pull Ups. [...]

This is the result of multitasking! When you get a little busy doing 10 things at once, sometimes stuff falls through the cracks. In this case, it was three bone-in chicken breasts that I put on the grill at about 5pm. Then, when Sophia woke me up at 3:30am, I couldn’t go [...]
We took the girls to the park on Monday to burn off a little steam. There were a few of Hailey’s friend boys playing soccer out on the field about 25 feet away. Luke asked her to go say hello to them and walked over with Sophia. When I came up to [...]

I slept until 9:45 while Luke and Hailey watched a movie downstairs
Sophia slept until 1:00pm. You heard me…1:00pm
Her fever is gone
Both girls had lots of fun at a birthday party in the ‘burbs this afternoon
There was pizza at the party so I didn’t have to cook [...]
I am picturing a future wherein I cannot get a word in edgewise…
Ok. I feel like I’m breaking a mirror by writing this blog. It’s entirely possible that in the future, I will have to endure seven years of bad luck, and by bad luck I mean a rebellious teenager with a messy room and a “I’m not you!” t-shirt. Yet, I just can’t [...]
Sophia knows maybe ten words. Among those are Mama and Whoa. So, you can imagine how often I hear “Whoa, Mama” from the backseat. It’s by far her favorite saying, and she has plenty of opportunities to say it while I say some other words at the Atlanta traffic.
