I hate to tell you this, but there is a certain kind of man (as in Chris Songer and his firtborn - but ONLY his firstborn) who fall for that kind of female power play every time. I think they see it as some kind of damsel in distress thing. Poor sweet boys. They don't have a clue what they're up against.

Um....yuck.
But I venture to guess that there might be worse in the future...though I can't imagine what it could possibly be.

I'm sure I should already know the answer to this, but where was Luke when his blasted timepiece went off? I realize he is capable of sleeping through the Apocolypse, so it may have presented more of a challenge than just stuffing it in the guestroom.

That is so great. And you're right. She is going to be a fish and you'll never get her out of the water! I knew that as soon as she did it once, there would be no stopping her. Tell her congratulations! Grandpa Pete is proud too!

You guys are funny. Of course, I know it's not funny going through it. I can still feel you pain. Joey had horrible ear infections as a toddler and I remember many a sleepless night rocking a screaming child. Isn't parenting fun. The problems and challenges change, but the game remains the same.

Next issue for us...Melissa needs a computer for college. She's set on a Mac and I have no idea what to look for. Other than playing the goofy Zombie game (which I miss terribly) I have no experience with Macs.

So I need your geekie husband Luke to give me some advice. What do I buy? Email me at ammichotek@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Your response to every one of these events and your need to vent about them seems completely rational and warranted. Smash the dang watch. Smash it good.
